Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the coordination of total patient care needs for the medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed patients, and pediatric patients on Med/Surg/Pedi. Collaborates with and directs the activities of others to meet patient care needs for this population of patients and utilizes the Nursing Process as a basis for nursing decisions. Delivers care appropriate for the patient's age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs; accountable to the Unit Manager and, while on duty, interacts closely with the Clinical Coordinator and/or Nursing Supervisor. Three years' minimum acute care experience required. Meditech experience preferred. Current Vermont RN licensure and BCLS required. 14 days after final COVID vaccination dose and/or living in Vermont, we need
proof of a negative PCR test result.
NOT COVID vaccinated AND traveling from outside of Vermont, we require a
negative PCR test 3 days before travel to Vermont and once in Vermont another
negative PCR prior to start date at NVRH.All incoming Travelers are required upon acceptance to contact our Occupational Medicine NP Gordon Black at 802-748-4393 to be screened for COVID19. Travelers will not be allowed to begin their assignments until they are cleared by our provider at NVRH. All medical documents are required to be submitted to Medefis 2 business days prior to start. Any delay may push back start date.
