Registered Nurse (RN) must function in Day Surgery, Laser Therapy and PUVA
Therapy. They may be required to assist
as 2nd RN in the PACU Phase I recovery when
needed and in the Pre-Operative Assessment Clinic. Promotes
a culture of safety, efficiency and collaborates with providers and other team
members of perioperative staff for the smooth transition of patient to all
appropriate surgical areas. All RNs must assume responsibility for
covering late and unscheduled cases requiring care after regular hours. Ability to perform a
variety of duties in Day Surgery Unit, Laser & PUVA Therapy, and offsite
clinics under supervision and as a team member as well as ability to function
independently.
Two years of patient
care experience required; experience in a variety of ambulatory and acute care
settings preferred. BLS and ACLS required.

Copy of test result required. No quarantine required.If 14 days after final COVID vaccination dose and/or living in Vermont, we need proof of a negative PCR test result. If NOT COVID vaccinated AND traveling from outside of Vermont, we require a negative PCR test 3 days before travel to Vermont and once in Vermont another negative PCR prior to start date at NVRH.All credentialing is required to be completed 2 business days prior to start. Any delay in credentialing will delay start date.
