Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Echo/Vascular TechBrief Job Description:Performs the essential job duties and responsibilities of a Diagnostic Ultrasound Technician in assessing, planning and implementing diagnostic testing of assigned patients. Responsible for meeting the established standards for the administration of diagnostic ultrasound as well as appropriate documentation of activities related to testing and for managing supplies and equipment. Responsible for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. Responsible for solving practical problems, dealing with a variety of issues and interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form. Demonstrates clinical knowledge and judgment regarding patients care.++Requirements:++Required to present an active AHA (American Heart Association) BLS certification, and Must be registered. 2 years of experience in cardiac and vascular ultrasound required. Hospital provides housing and bill rate is adjusted accordingly.ALL housing arrangements must be made through HR. For housing information please call 432-221-HOME(4663).$80.00 bill rate - Housing options are dependent on availability 1) $80.00 bill rate - 1 bedroom furnished apartment with all utilities included. (Cable/Internet must be provided by traveler, if desired)2)$80.00 bill rate - 1 bedroom suite in extended stay with full kitchenette. To ensure the safety of all employees, patients and visitors and to limit the spread of COVID-19 All persons within Midland Health buildings are required to wear a universal fabric face mask in public areas: Hallways Cafeteria (unless you are dining) Teaming Stations Department Common Areas Etc. The proper way to wear your mask is to cover your nose and mouth. Social distancing of at least 6 feet is also required. A screening will also be conducted as personnel enter the hospital. They will be asked about travel, contact with COVID-19, and temperature will be taken.**If Traveler is selected for assignment, State and County Criminal Background check must be a FULL background check and not limited to 7 years**Required Qualifications
