Purpose
of Position:
Performs evaluations and develops
effective Speech Language Pathology
Treatment plans to restore,
maintain or prevent decline of patient function. Administers appropriate
therapy and treatments accordance with federal, state and professional
standards. Provide Speech Language Pathology services across the life span
across several settings, including: long term care, acute inpatient, outpatient
and telemedicine.
Uphold the organizations vision, mission, and corporate

compliance with organizations policies, procedures, code of conduct and work
rules.
Essential
Functions:

Provide speech and
language therapy services defined in treatment plans including such therapies
·
Collaborate with physicians,
case managers, and other professionals in planning and conducting therapies
leading the to a healthly restoration of the patient

Supervises aides and other
support staff as required and when needed
·
Prepare and complete all
required documentation associated with Speech Language activities, services and
care plans
·
Perform other duties as assigned
