POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the
nursing processes of assessment, planning, evaluation and implementation;
directs and guides patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel while
maintaining standards of professional nursing.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Licenses or Certifications
Current license to practice professional nursing in the
state where currently practicing (RN)
CPR required, ACLS certification preferred
Education, Training, and Experience
1-2 years of
medical-surgical nursing experience preferred

Clinical equipment used for patient care, i.e. glucometer, IV/enteral
pumps, patient lift/transfer devices, bladder scanner, patient call light system,
emergency equipment-defibrillator and, basic
office equipment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 30 pounds and transfer patients in excess of
100 pounds, which may require pushing, pulling, and utilizing full range of
body movements.
Ability to stand, sit, reach, push, pull, stoop, kneel,
crouch and/or crawl, grasp, use fine finger movement.
Environmental Conditions
Indoors in climate controlled, well-lighted, and ventilated
environment.
