White Pine Care Center is looking for a Physical
Therapist to evaluate and treat residents suffering from physical ailments due
to injury, disease, surgery, or age progression in a nursing home environment. Physical
Therapist will establish treatment plans and treat residents using a variety of
methods including exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and
equipment to ease residents pain, increase mobility and improve their quality
of life. The Physical Therapist assists in providing a clean, safe, dignified, and
healthy environment for residents by performing the duties as described below. ·
Evaluate
new residents upon admission·
Develop
detailed treatment and care plans for each of the residents·
Communicate
and coordinate with residents care providers to ensure a consistent level of
care·
Assess
for safe discharges which may require home visit assessments on a limited basis·
Exercise
independent judgement based on experience to implement effective treatment
combinations·
Evaluate
and report on residents progress·
Assist
administrative staff with billing and reporting inquiries·
Comply
with federal and state Physical Therapy regulations·
Complete
all required continuing education hours QUALIFICATIONS·
Doctor
of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program·
Nevada
Physical Therapy license·
Skilled
Nursing Home Experience (Preferred, though not required)
