.9 Travelers 3-12hr shifts. They will also be in our call/weekend rotation but that on average is one call shift and one 12hr shift on a weekend maybe every 4/5/6 weeks depending on number of staff in the rotation. The Post-Surgical Unit at GMC consists of forty six total bays, fifteen bays are used specifically for Preop Needs and the remaining thirty one bays are primarily used for phase one recovery. The Surgical Suite at GMC also includes a twenty eight bay Same Day Surgery unit and a ten bay Pediatric Pacu that is separately staffed but works in very close alignment with the main PACU. Our Surgical Suite here at GMC consists of thirty six plus OR rooms including a state of the art Neuro-Interventional room, Robotic use, and many other state of the art technologies and surgical techniques. We utilize the Epic EHR software for all our surgical scheduling and documentation needs. The GMC campus is a Trauma One Level facility and consists of high acuity patient needs and multiple specialty based Intensive Care Units. The GMC facility has a bed capacity of over five hundred inpatient beds that include a Womens Center, Pediatric Hospital, Hospital for Advanced Medicine and several others offering an array of complex care needs.
