Performs a variety of healthcare environmental services duties to enhance the healthcare environment by maintaining the location assigned.Follow special healthcare cleaning and trash handling techniques as required ensuring a professional and appropriate service standard while performing the job.Follows system wide standards as well as department specific service standards.Responsible for ensuring the very best patient/family/customer experience by optimizing all customer interactions. Fosters a positive work environment through mutual support and cooperation and adheres to unit specifics service standards. Performs duties to support the goals and objectives of Geisinger in its efforts to provide quality patient care and patient satisfaction.Highs school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in environmental services in a health care setting preferred,Floor care experience stripping waxing and autoscrubs preferred,Facility Location
