The Surg Tech will work four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts with a weekend, call & holiday rotation (or perhaps even five 8-hour days if that is the candidate's preference). This rotation is fluid and always changing based on census and staffing levels. Surg Tech will take A MINIMUM of 1 day of call per week, but other than this minimum expectation we cannot guarantee any "set" rotation for weekends, etc. Shifts may run over if all cases are not completed. Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program. BLS required. CST preferred but not required. Candidate must possess a minimum of current or very recent 2 years of General Surg Tech experience. Excellent critical thinking and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required.Required Qualifications
