Unit Description
Responsible
for:

Diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic
imaging of ER patients (to include geriatrics and pediatrics) and inpatients
·
Trauma radiography for all of Northern
Nevada
·
Fluoroscopy studies for adult and pediatric inpatients
and outpatients
·
Optimal patient care through assessment,
planning, implementation, and evaluation of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent,
adult, and geriatric patients and families.
·
Excellent patient experience while ensuring
patient safety
·
Critical care patients in Trauma ICU,
Cardiac ICU, Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU, Medical ICU
·
Education and professional development
programs: tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment, skills workshops,

Collaborate with doctors, residents, nurses,
and all ancillary support staff to provide seamless patient care

80 ER beds, ~ 950 inpatient beds, includes 5
ICUS
Our
equipment includes:

Two GE Definium radiography suites: perform
a variety of diagnostic radiographic exams
·
GE XR 656 Pediatric and Bariatric
radiography suite: scoliosis studies and bone-length studies with digital
stitching.
·
Digital panorex imaging.
·
GE XR Precision 500 and Siemens Axiom Fluoroscopy
suites: perform exams to include Upper GI, Barium Swallow, Modified Barium
Swallow, Small Bowel Follow Through, Barium Enema, and Lumbar Puncture exams for
inpatients and outpatients.
·
Carestream Revolution DRX Portable and GE
AMX portable machines.
·
18 operating room suites where we operate 2
OEC Elite C-arms, 7 Philips c-arms, and a Medtronics O-Arm for orthopedic,
endoscopic, neuro, and trauma surgery cases.

Schedule
·
Monday-Thursday: Ten hour shifts with
dedicated breaks. (Two fifteen minute breaks, thirty minute meal break)
·
Friday-Sunday: Twelve hour shifts with
dedicated breaks. (Two fifteen minute breaks, thirty minute meal break)
·
Shifts are staggered to provide coverage for
mornings, swings and graveyards.
·
Per-diem shifts vary and are expected to be
available for any/all shifts.
·
Holidays are on a rotating schedule.
·
UPDATE: As of 6/12/20, Renown Reserves the right to call off, without penalty, FOUR (4) shifts, or 48 hours, for low census per 13 week contract. This may be full or partial shifts.
