active NM or compact license. Traveler must have permanent address outside of
radius rule of 75 miles. Please note time off requests must be disclosed with
initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the
acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.Instructs patients regarding magnetic
resonance imaging procedures; prepares, positions, and manipulates patients to
ensure appropriate placement for imaging.
*Selects appropriate imaging techniques, calibrates console and peripheral
hardware, as required.
*Obtains images, produces film records and backups from desk to storage media,
and transfers from desk top work station.*Inspects for quality and completeness of
exam.*Performs quality assurance on magnetic
resonance equipment and laser camera.
*Performs physical inventories and maintains clinical supplies.
*Ensures adherence to established PHS/PMG and department policies and procedures,
objectives, quality assurance programs, safety standards, HIPAA and compliance
regulations.
EXPERIENCE: 2 years experience current required. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.CERTS: BLS required. PALS and ACLS preferred. BLS, (ACLS, and PALS
if obtained) must be completed through American Heart Association, American
Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EMR: EPIC experience preferred. SHIFTS: 10 hour NIGHT shift (starts at 7pm) + call . Shift will include Friday night, others depend on staffing- Weekends/Holidays requried. May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. May need to float to our PH and/or KPH locations. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same
shifts. ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed
40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. Scrubs required
