Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.RCIS Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist responsibilities: to include Adult Cardiac Catheterization,
Cardiac Devices, Vascular Catheterization, and/or Pediatric Cardiac
Catheterization and/or Electrophysiology and/or Neuro Intervention and/or
Structural Heart. Ensures that complete and accurate documentation is
maintained, ensures accurate medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of
daily procedural case load, Respond and provide emergent care, performs
administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring
maintenance of equipment, and cleanliness of the lab. Assures preparedness of
procedure rooms and compliance in accordance to PHS, Local and Federal
regulations.Associates Degree in
Invasive Cardiovascular / Cardiopulmonary Technologist program, radiology,
Respiratory therapy, paramedic; Prefer 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic and
interventional procedure in performing scrubbing, circulating and
monitoring/recording duties. RCIS/RCES required. ACLS & PALS, Requires
detailed knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes and
principles of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional technology.CERTS: BLS certification
required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American
Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.SHIFTS: 7am - 5 pm + call - May fluctuate
to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be
required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate
locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are
not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC
training. Scrubs required
