**METHODIST HOSPITAL******MUST HAVE ACTIVE INDIANA LICENSE******SCHOOL MUST BE ACEN OR CCNE ACCREDITED AT TIME OF GRADUATION***Surgical Trauma Critical Care - Nights. Must work every other weekend. First to float if census is low.STCC is a 20 bed unit that takes trauma patients as well as surgical patients. We support the care of patients requiring abdominal surgery, orthopedic surgery, general surgery with complications i.e. requiring intubation and hemodynamic monitoring. We also have a revascularization team that treats hand and finger reattachment, as well as a growing ENT service. Our traumas include GSW, stabbings, motor vehicle accidents, boating, farming and construction accidents. 95% of the patients come from the emergency room and the others may be upgrades from the floors, or outside hospitals requesting direct admits to care for complex patients. All patients post op come directly from the OR as we do not send our patients to PACU, so we do a lot of recovery within the unit. I would support a 1.2 FTE if that is what the right candidate would want, with every other weekend commitment and summer holiday commitment, especially Memorial Day and 4th of JulyRequired Qualifications
