Job Summary
This 13 week contract has the ability to extend or become a full time, permanent hire. We are hiring for a full time Dietitian to come on site and
plan, coordinate and manage all patient nutritional care
activities. Our hope is to find someone to Develop and implement
cost effective, profit generating nutritional programs. There will be a
strong focus on tasty and nutritious meal planning for our
residents and patients. This individual will also supervise staff in the
Dietary Department.

Establishes, maintains and implements policies, standards of care and programs in the Dietary Department.Coordinates and directs the clinical activities, including
standards determining nutritional intervention to assure the patients
at highest risk receive appropriate, timely care.Assesses patients nutritional status according to established standards.Develops nutritional care plans for patients of any age
including neonate, child, adolescent, geriatric and terminally ill
patients.Develops nutritional care plans based on the cultural orientation of the patient.Evaluates the results of nutritional intervention on the
patients nutritional status to determine the need to revise the
nutritional plan of care.Improves patients nutritional status by consulting with provider on appropriate nutritional interventions.Develops and implements patient nutrition care programs and ensures consistency of programs.Maintains clinical policy and procedure manual for department to meet regulatory standards and hospital guidelines.Orders and controls materials and resources to effectively ensure the quality and availability of supplies.Responsible for developing and maintaining departmental budget.Develops, implements and documents inservice education programs for dietary staff.
About You
Bachelors degree in course work approved by the Commission
on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic
Association (ADA).Proof of passing the national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).Previous experience as a Registered Dietitian in an acute care setting (preferred).

Position requires physical effort, periods of sitting,
standing, walking, bending and/or stooping, twisting, reaching and

disruptive/aggressive patients and visitors. May have exposure to bodily
