Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to start. Must
have two (2) years of experience in respiratory care at a general/acute
hospital. Must have and maintain a current valid BLS and ACLS Certification
from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Must have and maintain a current valid Respiratory Care Practitioner
license from any state of the United States of America, The Commonwealth of
Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. Must have and maintain a current valid
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) or respiratory therapist is an
individual trained in the technical aspects of respiratory care and will
exhibit those skills and deliver modalities of respiratory therapy, emergent
and intensive respiratory care, and diagnostic procedures. Work hours are 24
hour coverage rotational, day or night shifts, weekends, holidays and
occasional overtime.
Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation, a JCAHO accredited health
center, provides services to a 4,400 square mile area and serves as a referral
center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. The hospital
was constructed in 1975 with a bed capacity of 73. Services provided to the
community include comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency services, dental
