Worked / Expectation of 5 to 6 Productivity Points per 8 Hour Shift The Registered Nurse in home health provides
one on one skilled nursing care and treatment to patients in their homes using
a comprehensive and patient specific care plan. This position will
have the opportunity to spend
quality time with the patient, in the patients home, to promote health and
independence; have autonomy in addition to the support and collaboration of a
full team of healthcare professionals while managing a case load; maintain compliance with applicable laws,
regulations and agency policies; and provide accurate documentation and
follow-up of patient findings to provide optimal patient
outcomes. Adaptability is essential for the home health RN, as work
schedule and daily work load change frequently to meet patient
needs. Acute medical surgical experience and outstanding critical thinking
skills are needed to meet the needs of the patient. Valid and clean Drivers License as well as
reliable transportation required.
Minimum of one year acute care nursing
experience required. Previous nursing experience in a
medical-surgical environment preferred.
EMR is utilized in this position.Safety Sensitive
Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in
accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.
